OKAY!! I have looked for this movie on DVD for years. MY husband won't let me start watching it until October no matter how many ways I ask. So far I only come across the dvd when I don't have money to spend. sigh. THEN last night, Elijah (six years old) came out dressed in Napoleon Dynamite snow boots, knee high striped red sox, two pairs of boxers, a wife beater, and a blue beanie. The Man told him he was just missing his super short robe. He returned wearing his little sister's- strawberry pink. Eli kept saying we should call him uncle Frank, but I insisted he was much closer to Cousin Eddie and we made him run down to the neighbor's, ring the door bell, sing Jingle Bells, and run away. They laughed, a lot! True Stuff. I NEED this movie!

My stepdad's side of the family is definitely kooky...they even make this horrid mashed potato & peanut butter "candy" every year for Christmas that they insist is delicious...it's not! haha

I see Britt has left a comment, she is kooky, haha!

No I have to say my dh's family is crazy for this movie! We love anything National lampoons with Chevy. Our most recent movie quote has been the national lampoons vacation where they go to wally world. I love when they are driving through the bad part of town and then they hear gun shots and he says "roll 'em up!!" oh so funny. You all are probably thinking, thats not funny, I know its just one of those things that makes you laugh.
OH I hope I win *crossing fingers*
Thanks Melody for all the giveaways great idea and fun too!

I wouldn't describe anyone in my family as "kooky". We're all a bit silly but nothing totally out there.

I can't even tell you how much we LOVE this movie! I haven't been able to find it on DVD so a search the TV everyday after Thanksgiving to catch it on! This year, the best we've caught it was half way through! This is such NORMAL behavior in our families and we LOVE matching ourselves and our relatives to their characters! And we actually had a Christmas tree scene fiasco here just the other day! Thanks for the awesome chance to win this!

Does my cat count? Because if so, she is the only cat in the world who likes spinach better than real cat food, even the gourmet stuff we buy her. She also drinks water from a straw. A straw! We're working on getting her a bib and sippy cup. She's more like the baby of the family than an animal.

Would love to win the DVD of this movie. It is an all time favorite at our house, and the VHS is about worn out... We don't really have any of those kooky relatives and have (thank God) never had a Christmas that bad. However, we HAVE lived next to a few neighbors like the ones in the movie!

Merry Christmas, and I hope your "vacation" is fun!

My family as a whole are kooky. When we get together, someone is bound to fall off of a table or catch fire. It's always a riot when we all get together.
