It's FRIIIIIIIIDAY ... time for the Friday SALE! Woot Woot!

Before I hit the sales, I have to say thank you to everyone who left such high praises in the comments yesterday regarding my hubby's homemade Reese's bouquet. That made him one happy fella! He peeked onto my blog at work and came home saying how kind you all were. I am tempted to get him to start his own blog "Lessons for Husbands: How to Stay Out of the Doghouse for Good" - hahaha I think it would be fun, but then again I am addicted to blogging. ;-)

Since it's beyond late, I'm going to jump right into the deals. I'll start with a few fun free activities for the kiddos...
Activity Page for Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving Dinner Maze
Thanksgiving Parade Coloring Page
Family Game Night - time to turn the TV off and have fun!

A BIG thank you to Heather for the heads up on this sale: Gymboree's Circle of Friends sale is going on until 11/9/08 - Save 30% off EVERYTHING! Use code: GYMFRIEND at checkout. Also, Crazy8 has their dressy holiday outfits marked at 40% off. Thanks again, Heather!

------------------

Now, on with the Friday Sale...remember, if you want it at this price grab it today.

I have a pan that is similar to this one, but I can tell you right now, it was NOT 79% off. At least it was on sale though. This one has FAB reviews...
Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized 12-Inch Everyday Pan with Lid
List Price: $168.00
Today's Sale Price: $34.99 - 79% off

Wow, totally random item - if you need earplugs, then this is the deal for you! lol
Milwaukee Bulk Box of 200 Disposable Earplugs
List Price: $46.00
Today's Sale Price: $6.99 - 85% off
Eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping

And most likely if you need the earplugs (for work unless you have REALLY loud and destructively messy kids) then you'll need safety glasses to go with them...
Milwaukee Safety Glasses Clear Hard Coat

Today's Sale Price: $5.99 - 68% off
Eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping

Chop chop...
Cuisinart Mini-Prep Food Processor

A plethora (I love that word) of Digital Frames on sale from 21-60% off. I couldn't pick one to list so just click HERE to see them all.

I've been waiting for a coffee grinder to land on the Friday Sale...
Krups Electric Coffee and Spice Grinder
List Price: $40.00
Today's Sale Price: $21.99 - 45% off

OK, this gets my vote! I think this is the BEST invention ever. Well, maybe not the 'best' one, but it's pretty darn cool. (It's on my brain that if we have another child we'll lose our guest room.) Planning to attend a sleepover and you don't want to sleep on the floor? Having overnight guests and not enough beds? Grab your backpack!
Aerobed Slumber Bed and Backpack
List Price: $109.99
Today's Sale Price: $37.99 - 65% off
FREE Super Saver Shipping

That's all I have time for. If you want to check out all the other goodies in the Friday Sale the click away! :)

Cuisinart Mini-Prep Food Processor

Well I have a twin size bed in my bedroom for my grandchildren when they visit. (or the babies I care for)
And of course there is the couch and love seat (both have recliners in them)
But if they are really smart we have 4 motels in town and 3 bed and baths.

I dig the pan. I need something like that.

We haven't really had that many overnight guests... We have a guest room, three sofas and plenty of floor space lol

I would have to chose the Milwaukee products.. my husband has a construction company and he LOVES anything Milwaukee.... just wanted to tell ya how much I love your blog... keep up the great work!!! and seriously, that would be a great blog for you hubby to start.....

The bed caught my attention b/c we're always borrowing my parents when we have out of town guests. We have one queen size bed that people can stay on--otherwise they get a couch, a dog bed, or a blow up mattress! :)

When I bought my house and new couches, I stopped letting the kiddos and their friends sleep on the couches. Well my house is all hardwood floors too so can't really ask their friends to sleep there so I did buy two of those camping air mattresses, not as nice as the slumber bed one, and they fit perfectly on the floor in each kid's room!

i love that pan!! i think i need it! and we have TWO air mattresses and a futon, cuz we usually have a crew when we have overnight guests :)

iheartbowheads.blogspot.com said...

You know - we hardly ever ever ever have overnight guests - no one wants to come sleep with us

:)

Great deals though!

Because I live in a 1 bedroom apartment, everyone knows not to sleep overnight! That bed would be great though.

where do you find this stuff?? You are amazing. thanks so much for the links!!

Love the idea for the blog for your husband! I think it would go over really well--and get a ton of hits from much less creative/inspired men (like my husband, though he -kind of-- tries).

Ummmm...on one of those instantly inflateable air mattresses like you have shown. But we don't have house guests, we have a two bedroom teeny-tiny house. Love it, but there isn't room for sleepovers!

Cuisinart Mini-Prep Food Processor - b/c mine is like 15 years old and I could use another one!! humm on the overnight guests - doesn't happen much here - no room in my house really! one extra bed in my son's room for cousin sleepovers. But a couch in the basement???

and I like your thoughts on your hubs blog!!!!!!!

Ash said...

The aerobed! We have one of those fancy ones that have legs and all when you blow it up. I thought it was a good alternative for my parents when they come to visit, but their reviews aren't so hot. I've got three weeks to figure out another alternative.

Off to amazon!!

Really, you should encourage your hubby to start the blog. We could all send an email to our hubs with the link. :)
Your fave from the sale...the bed and backpack - we have nice comfy couches and a sofa bed in the living room. We don't get many overnighters since all our friends and family pretty much live inour town.

Crazy as it sounds, the earplugs might be my favorite item on your list! My husband and I like to wear our own when we go to concerts (not as many as we used to now that we have our boy), but sometimes we lose them and end up having to get a cheap pair at a drugstore before we go!

I love the aerobed.

We put our guests in a hotel. Had the second baby last year and we are plum outta room! :->

When our guests come to our little house, we sleep on the aerobed and they get our bed. I like the aerobed. It's so easy to put up and so compact when we put it away!

Hotel baby! We (conveniently) got rid of our guest room and turned it into a nursery when I was pregnant. We have our bedroom, the nursery and the other two bedrooms are offices...1 for me since I'm a WAHM and one for hubby. Both families will be in town this week and they're staying at hotels. I like it that way!

Lexie said...

im a day late... of course

Depends on the guest. our house is small. We aren't at the age where we can shuffle kids around to sleep yet, and the spare room is becoming a nursery, so...

long time friends who don't care... the couch or an air mattress in the living room works great! or if hubby is owrking and i am comfortable with the guest, i offer up our room and take the couch.

people who will irritate us, or need their space/privacy, etc... there is a great hotel 2 miles down the road with breakfast included :) my inlaws always stay there.

and im so weird but my favorite item is the ear plugs... because when my husband has to go to the range for training, etc, he needs them and they are cheap but they are easily misplaced. and 200 for that price is awesome!

In the driveway of course.

I found these coloring pages last year and printed a bunch out, cut them and pasted them on construction paper, covered with contact paper and wha-la! Instant entertainment placemats for the kids.

Ohhh, great deals.... and I love our blow up mattress... have used it plenty of times for guests!! Hope you're enjoying your weekend!! :)

♥ I think he should definately do a blog and maybe I can get my husband to take some NOTES!!! :)

I love the aerobed!!!

When we run out of beds we usually blow up one of the air mats. Last winter we had a terrible ice storm (with power outages for 10days) in Tulsa, OK and had to all sleep on air mattresses in the den w/the fireplace. B jumped on one and the sucker popped like a balloon.

I've been trying to get my Hubby to start one too, LOL. He had one because he was traveling, but isn't anymore, but still had the domain name. Jeremybarancik.com. Also, that would be a great Blog for your husband to start, I'm sure alot of Hubby's and boyfriends would benefit from it, LOL.
Favorite item= Mini-prep food processor
And I would put them on the couch, and or on the floor LOL.

Mandy said...

I love the mini food processor. I am not much into cooking (I do it cuz I have to), so this size is perfect for me.

Luckily, we don't have out of town guests much. Having most of your immediate family in town eliminates that possibility. When other guests like extended family or friends visit, they usually stay with my parents or their own parents who are in town as well. Small town. It's great.

My guests sleep in my rather large family room if needed.

I'm back and I've missed reading you....

Oh, we definitely use the inflatable mattresses - they're the way to go. :)
