So, I'm a recent convert to facebook. I converted from rebelling against it and now I'm hittin' google up left and right trying to find a 'facebook addicts' support group. It is WAY too much fun and I've gotten back in contact with tons of old friends. Having dinner on Friday night with a fabulous friend from high school...love meeting pals over sushi! :)
One thing I thought was hilarious last night while on facebook was that 99% of the people on my friends list updated their statuses to read that they were watching American Idol. I'm thinking the only 'show' that will get more viewers will be Obama's inauguration. Our country's priorities...not so sure they are that bad....we need some laughter in this crazy world these days.

LOVE it. These auditions are my favorite part of Idol. In fact, I rarely tune in during the actual "season" after the 12 make it. Is that wrong?

Generally I watch the first few weeks of American Idol--where they audition folks--and the last few weeks (when the competition gets tough).
And I love that you have Planet Earth today. It's such a fantastic show.
I usually do't watch until they are about halfway through - I don't like the meanness at the beginning.
Can you believe I have never watched American Idol!

I may be the only person in America that didn't watch American Idol last night, or tonight for that matter. I just don't like the show - it bores me. I know, I know, I'm strange LOL.
I guess I never started watching it because I wasn't allowed TV during the week, so I never got caught in the AI bug. I'll gladly sit down and watch "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List" with you though!

i'd rather watch American Idol. Personally, i like the girl from memphis because she was the only one who was great! AND because I'm from MS 2 hours away from Memphis could be another reason, but she was good:)
