I promise I won't sneeze on my Slow Cooking Thursday meal...

So, on Monday I wrote about how it seems I can't even get through 2 weeks without talking about someone in our household being sick....well, looks like I won't be able to get through a week without talking about it twice. The baby is still sick, but getting better. Now the hubby and I are dealing with it. I must say though, a humidifier and Vick's Plug Ins work wonders!

Because I've been nursing a sick family, I don't have much interesting to say. I've been parked on the couch trying to keep the baby from getting too worked up and to rest myself. The couch did come in handy Tuesday...I never left it because I was glued to all the news channels covering the inauguration. Wow, I feel blessed to be alive to see such amazing history in the making! No matter who you voted for, you have to feel proud of our country.

Slow Cooker Dump and Go Cheesy Chicken

I found this super-easy-way-yummy recipe at allrecipes.com...

INGREDIENTS
6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
2 (11 ounce) cans condensed cream of cheddar cheese soup
1/2 cup milk
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
*I add 1 can of cream of chicken and 1 can of cream of mushroom. I also season the chicken with Italian seasoning.

DIRECTIONS
1. Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. Place chicken breasts inside. In a medium bowl mix together soup and milk, and pour mixture over chicken. Season with salt and pepper to taste and garlic powder.
2. Cook on High for about 6 hours. Note: Do not lift lid while cooking!

I better check out those sheets.
The chicken looks so good. I've never seen condensed milk with meat before!
I saw only snippets of the inauguration - I was at work.

I did not watch any of the inauguration. *ducking* I was working. I did catch a little highlight here and there and the Lego version on a blog I found. :)

I taped it since I was stuck at unemployment training. Then I watched it all.

Come on over to my blog - it's time for the 100th post giveaway!

I purposely watched NONE of it. In fact, my family came over for a "I'm not going to watch that (crud)" party! We had a great time not watching it! LOL!

Sorry you are sick. My daughter has a runny nose today and I'm hoping it won't last too long.

Sorry you have been sick. I hope you feel better soon!

I probably watched an hour of the ceremony and then in the evening I would switch over and watched the Obama's show up at some of the balls!

It was a great day!

I didn't watch any of the inauguration. But my company did play it in the auditorium for employees to watch.

I just found out I'm going to be a God Mother! I'm on the lookout for baby shower invitations. Any ideas?
