WOO HOO! Thank you SOOooo much Melody for hosting this giveaway! I can't even tell you how many times I have looked at Pink luggage, and then told myself..."not now, it's a "luxury" item...not in the budget...use the manly green carry-on that you have"! I emailed you just a few minutes ago. Thank YOU!!!

On my Christmas list as a kid was a Merlin game, a Simon Says game, and a Barbie Dream House.

When I was little I got a Cabbage Patch Doll for Xmas from my grandparents. She looked just like me, I had blue eyes until I was 2.5 then they turned green. I still have her. Her name is Kelly Ann. I think she was a sign that I would meet my future husband, his last name, which will someday be my last name, is Kelly. weird huh?

Also I asked for a Teddy Ruxpin (thats a whole 'nother story)

Can you tell I was born in the 80's?

Kristen said...

I can never really remember what I asked for as a child. But I do remember very clearly the year that my dad built me a three story doll house for my Barbies. It was pink and white and I absolutely loved it!

~Trish~ said...

Rollerskates! What do ya know...I bought myself a pair this year :)

A dumb Barbie - could explain all my self image problems right. Dumb Doll anyway!!!

I also love Elf. I have to fold a ton of laundry and that would make it so much easier to endure. My favorite scene is the snowball fight - that just cracks me up.

My list as a kid:
There is a story that my family members tell about me every year. When I was 3, I went around and told everyone that I could that I was asking Santa for a "Play washer and dryer." Too bad I don't enjoy the real washer and dryer now!

Chatty Cathy doll and one year - a cowgirl outfit!! Fun times back then - now hard times for a lot of folks this year.
